Samten went to the United Kingdom after completing secondary school in India to earn an integrated Master’s degree from the University College of Osteopathy. She is now establishing her practice in India. Samten has been a volunteer at the Pestalozzi Village in Dehradun. She also volunteered at a local hospital and at a senior citizen home back in her community after she finished her studies. Her Tibetan parents also live in India, where they farm and in the winter sell sweaters. “We walked in as strangers and walked out as a family,” says Samten. PestalozziWorld, “allowed me not only to chase my full calibre but also helped me give back to the community and become a responsible citizen.”

Together we can develop a bespoke partnership that will create opportunities for thousands of children.
