President and Founder of Io Global Services, Yashpal is an alumnus of a Pestalozzi program in the United Kingdom and graduated from the Imperial College in London.
Cheme Palden
Director, PestalozziWorld India
Cheme’s family fled Tibet when the Communist Chinese took over, gaining refugee status in India. Her tertiary studies in London and Northern India included Osteopathy, English, and Psychology before she earned her Bachelor’s in Education.

Ken, a Chartered Accountant, is Chairman of Global 365 plc. His career in developing public, private equity and family businesses culminated in the founding of AZ Electronic Materials Plc, which was publicly traded before being acquired by Merck.
Cecilia Zimba

Cecelia is a fellow of the MIT CoLab/Global Alliance for Banking on Values Leadership Academy. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Evelyn Hone College and a MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
Clarence Mwami

Clarence joined PestalozziWorld Zambia in 2015. He is a qualified accountant who previously worked at the SOS Children’s Village in Lusaka.
Elizabeth Beim

Elizabeth served as the Development and Public Affairs Officer for Museum of the American Indian-Heye Foundation and was Senior Director on Cultural Affairs at the Americas Society. She earned her degree at Hollins College before her graduate studies at the London School of Economics. 
Puspraj Paneru

Puspraj Paneru is a Health Professional from a Far Western part of Nepal. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Public Health at Purbanchal University. His inspiration is the rural children who have to walk 2 hours to schools with inadequate infrastructure.
Phuntsok Tashi
Project Director, PestalozziWorld Nepal
Phuntsok fled to India from Tibet in 1960. He completed his primary and secondary education in the UK, where he also received a degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham. For a decade, he was Project Director at the Pestalozzi Indian Village.
James Haughton

James joined PestalozziWorld in 2020, bringing with him 10 years experience of executive leadership within international development organisations. James is also an active Trustee on several charitable boards in the UK.
Joanna Nair
Director of Alumni Relations & Educational Liaison, PestalozziWorld UK
Jo, who joined PestalozziWorld in 1996, has taught in India, Nepal and Turkey. Jo is also an Academic Associate with the School of Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of East Anglia, where she earned her PhD.
Tanya Mowbray

Before joining PestalozziWorld in 2012, Tanya coordinated educational programmes for the youth charity Peace Child International and directed events for the Sustainable Futures Academy in Austria.
