Reunions have always been a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with the Pestalozzi family from both India and overseas in person. 75 people made it to the reunion this time from India, Nepal, Malawi, Thailand and Zambia. Each organisation had its own share of updates to share with everyone as well as cultural dances and language lessons.
For me the trip to the Pestalozzi Indian Village was probably the best part. We got plenty of time to meet all the students and also to reminisce about the good old days at Pestalozzi. I was extremely happy to see how the organisations has grown into the Village it is today.
Besides all the inspiration and good memories, I also got to realise the meaning of real success through Sir Richard’s final words at the reunion. He said that the real success is “giving back” to the society. I was profoundly moved. I now aspire to work my hardest to achieve real success by giving back to the society in whatever small a way I can.
Thank you to all the members of the PestalozziWorld family for making this world a better place to live in!
