I am Emelina Mfune  and I come from Rumphi district in Malawi. I was born on 20th May 2002.  My family are subsistence farmers.

Pestalozzi came to my rescue in 2014 when I was in grade 5. Since then I have learnt to speak English, this has been one of my greatest achievements. I hope one day to be a sponsor especially for street children. I want to be a nurse and  a successful person and be active in sports.

I  like playing netball, soccer and also listening to music. My role model is Thoko Katimba a Malawian gospel artist due to the kind of music he produces. My favourite events at Pestalozzi are when there is music and football matches.

Together we can develop a bespoke partnership that will create opportunities for thousands of children.

Make a difference at one of our villages, either by teaching or supporting our staff. Your time and skills really can make a difference.

Unlock opportunities for children so they can achieve their true potential. Your donation goes entirely to the care and education of the scholars.
