I was going to the Pestalozzi Centre at Budhanilkantha School on 7th February with Mr. Bhola Shrestha when he asked me if I would be interested in attending the Pestalozzi Reunion 2002 in Dehradun. Wow! Why not? I thought, and said that I would of course be.

But then I completely forgot about it when he later said that some other delegates from the Pahad committee had been selected. Mr. Shrestha called me again on 14th February with good news.  He said that POCT had agreed to sponsor me to attend the Reunion! I couldn't help but jump up and down on my bed out of excitement. Well, that is how I celebrated Valentine's Day this year.
I was glad that I could make it to this year's reunion because it consisted largely of young POCT scholars and everyone was saying that it was good to see young faces with their youth, talents and vigour for life. Moreover they also commented on the fact that sponsoring young people like these would promote them towards the Pestalozzi circle of success, which is the ultimate goal. And I was nodding my head in agreement all the time.

Even the venue for Reunion 2002 was ideal. Phuntsok Tashi's vocational training centre has been an inspiration to all the Foundations. We definitely hope to get his help and advice when we get going with our own projects.
