Summer Camps

POCT holds summer camps for the scholars with the aim of creating in them a commitment to the Pestalozzi philosophy in an atmosphere of friendship. The camps also help the students form links with each other and with the alumni. They also get acquainted with the Foundations.

Wherever possible the camps are run by the in-country foundations, so demonstrating the Pestalozzi approach - Circles of Success!

Pestalozzi Camps have been held annually since 2000. They have taken place for Indian students at the Gurukul School near Lonavla, Maharashtra; for Nepalese students at Budhanilkanhta School, Kathmandu, Nepal; for Tibetan students at the Tibetan Children's Village, Dharamsala; and for the Thai students in Bangkok and in Khao Yai National Park, about 200 kms north east of Bangkok.
